FCS SUP GL-1 Lopez SUP Tri Fin Set

With the FCS G-1 Lopez quad fin set, FCS Fins and surfing legend Gerry Lopez set out to adapt the popular quad fin sets used in high-performance surfing to the longer, wider, and thicker SUP board market. The quad fin SUP set-up features two sets of twin fins. There is a larger set of fins in the upper outside position followed by two smaller `side bite` size fins on the inside set back further on the board. The concept here is that they are using more, smaller fins to compensate for the lack of a deep center fin. The result is you still maintain control, yet you get rid of the drag created by the larger center fin - a faster stand up paddle surfing experience, yet not squirrelly. The SUP is a totally different board that gets surfed with the help of a paddle (creating more force and torque in turns when desired) and thus required a totally different fin.
